fried plantains

Fried Plantains or also known as Dodo is one of the Nigerian recipes that is easy and fast to prepare. It can be served along side with fried egg, Rice recipes, Moi Moi, Custard meal, oat meal, akamu, etc.
Ingredients •

1. 3 lg ripe plantains •
2. vegetable oil

Directions

1. Peel plantains and slice into thin rounds.

2. In a large frying pan, heat 1/4 inch oil over medium-high heat for 4 to 5 minutes.

3. Add plantain slices and fry for 4 to 5 minutes or until golden brown on both sides.

4. Remove from oil with slotted spoon and drain on paper towel. Your Fried Plantains is ready, serve immediately.
